Planning a trip to UC San Diego? Join us for a half-day program on campus just for prospective transfer students. Take a tour of the campus, find out about support services, talk with Admissions Officers in a workshop format. It's free — and you can register online. Read more about Transfer Friday.

Triton Transfer Connect

Check back for dates

For admitted transfer students, a half day at the UC San Diego campus co-hosted by Admissions, Commuter Student Services, and the six undergraduate colleges.

Lots of social activities so you can meet your classmates combined with practical information about off-campus housing, roommate-matching services, and the support programs each college offers. Also, a shuttle-bus tour of nearby housing neighborhoods. For students only, but we have a list of activities for parents and family members to enjoy.

UC Application Workshops

October 10 or November 7
For freshmen and transfer students. Plan to attend one of our workshops for a review of the 2010–2011 UC application. Get an overview on completing the application and tips for writing the personal statement. Read more about the workshops.

Admissions Webinars

Various dates in October and November — download the flyer!
Online information sessions presented by Admissions Officers. Sign up individually or as a class or family group, and get an introduction to UC San Diego plus details about eligibility requirements and deadlines in about 40 minutes, with time for Q&A.
