The Parent & Family Helpline is a phone line for UC San Diego parents and family members to contact the university for assistance, support, or a listening ear. The Helpline is hosted by the Vice Chancellor - Student Affairs and you will normally speak to the Director, Parent & Family Programs. The phone line is monitored 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Individuals calling are encouraged to leave a message when the line is not monitored - all calls are returned in a timely manner. If you need assistance in the evening, a Saturday or Sunday, or for emergency related questions contact the UC San Diego University Police by calling (858) 534-4357.
