Family Weekend Parking & Directions

All Family Weekend participants are asked to park in Gilman Parking structure. There is no fee for parking Saturday and Sunday. If you chose to come to campus on Friday you will need to purchase a parking permit in the lot or near the lot where you chose to park. Families can park where they would like on Friday however a permit is required and families should be cautious not to parking in spots that are reserved. From San Diego International Airport

1. Go east on North Harbor Drive.
2. Turn left at West Laurel Street.
3. Turn left at India Street.
4. Turn onto the I-5 North entrance
5. Take the La Jolla Village Drive exit.
6. Turn left onto La Jolla Village Drive.
7. Take the Gilman Drive ramp.
8. Turn right at Gilman Drive.
9. Follow Gilman Drive to the Gilman Parking structure, which is located off Villa La Jolla Drive and Gilman Drive.

From the North:

1. Take I-5 south.
2. Take the La Jolla Village Drive exit.
3. Turn right onto La Jolla Village Drive.
4. Take the first right onto Villa La Jolla Drive.
5. Take the Gilman Drive ramp.
6. Turn right at Gilman Drive.
7. Follow Gilman Drive to the Gilman Parking structure, which is located off Villa La Jolla Drive and Gilman Drive.

From the East

1. Take I-8 west.
2. Merge onto I-5 north.
3. Take the La Jolla Village Drive exit.
4. Turn left onto La Jolla Village Drive.
5. Take the Gilman Drive ramp.
6. Turn right at Gilman Drive.
7. Follow Gilman Drive to the Gilman Parking structure, which is located off Villa La Jolla Drive and Gilman Drive.

 From the South

1. Take I-5 north.
2. Take the La Jolla Village Drive exit.
3. Turn left onto La Jolla Village Drive.
4. Take the Gilman Drive ramp.
5. Turn right at Gilman Drive.
6. Follow Gilman Drive to the Gilman Parking structure, which is located off Villa La Jolla Drive and Gilman Drive.
