If you are having trouble with your computing account or a computer in a lab, find out where to get help.

  • Setting up your computer in a dorm

    If you live in a dorm, find a Residential Computer Consultant (RCC) in your residence hall to get help.

  • Your account, computer support, or wireless support

    Contact the ACS Help Desk, (858) 534-3227, or visit in person at AP&M 1313 (map), 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. weekdays to get help on:

    • Your account
    • Computer support for on-campus residents
    • UCSD dial-in service
    • Virus and spyware detection and removal
    • Computer repairs and upgrades
  • Repairs, computer labs, and connecting to the network

    Contact Residential Networking (ResNet), (858) 822-2800, or visit in person at AP&M 1313 (map), 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. weekdays and 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. weekends to get help with:

    • Computer repairs and upgrades
    • Wireless network
    • Virus and spyware detection and removal
  • Computer labs

    Choose one of the following Academic Computing Services (ACS) resources:

    • Read a Step1 Guide, also available at the ACS Help Desk on the first floor of AP&M (map).
    • Find a Zebra, a student computing lab assistant, wearing a black and white striped shirt.
