Study Abroad Scholarships

Scholarships for students in UCSD's Opportunity Abroad Program (OAP), UC's Education Abroad Program (EAP), and the UCSD Global Seminars (GS):

  • Betty Tate International Scholarship

    Eligibility: Study abroad students with financial need and a minimum UCSD GPA of 2.8

    Apply through UCSD's Programs Abroad Office.

  • Chris Borton Memorial Study Abroad Scholarship

    Eligibility: Study abroad students, based on academic merit

    Apply through UCSD's Programs Abroad Office.

  • EAP Alumni and General Scholarships

    Eligibility: Primarily awarded to study abroad students with financial need, with some consideration for underrepresented students and/or students bound for developing countries

    Apply through UCSD's Programs Abroad Office.

  • EAP Study Program-Specific Scholarships

    Eligibility: Current students bound for the Pacific Region and some European countries

    Apply through UCSD's Programs Abroad Office.

  • Eleanor Roosevelt College (ERC) Scholarship

    Eligibility: Current ERC study abroad students with financial need

    Apply through ERC.

  • Ernest Mort International Scholarship for Revelle

    Eligibility: Revelle students studying abroad

    Apply through UCSD's Programs Abroad Office.

  • Fliesbach International Study Scholarship

    Eligibility: Study abroad students majoring in visual arts, anthropology, theatre, or dance

    Apply through UCSD's Programs Abroad Office.

  • Friends of the International Center Scholarships

    Eligibility: Study abroad students; primarily awarded for academic merit, with some consideration for financial need

  • Global Seminars Scholarships

    Eligibility: Students participating in UCSD's Global Seminars; awarded primarily on the basis of financial need

    Apply through UCSD's Programs Abroad Office.

  • Judaic Studies Scholarships

    Eligibility: Current students bound for Israel with preference for students with a Judaic Studies major or minor

    Apply through the Judaic Studies Department.

  • So Family Endowed Undergraduate Scholarship

    Eligibility: Students going to China, Hong Kong, and/or Taiwan

    Apply through UCSD's Programs Abroad Office.

  • Stephen P. L'Italien Jr. Memorial Scholarship

    Eligibility: LGBT students studying abroad

    Apply through UCSD's LGBT Resource Center.
