Financial Aid and the Wellness Center want you to win an iPod! Take 3 minutes and enter our CashCourse Challenge. Each week through December 10, we'll be giving away a free iPod to a lucky winner. Everyone will win by learning a new way to become financially well!

Important reminders on receiving your financial aid:

• Regularly check your Financial Aid Checklist on TritonLink to view and/or complete requested items or actions.
• Review your UCSD e-mail account for messages from the Financial Aid Office.
• If you have loans, make sure you complete all the required paperwork and counseling sessions.
• See additional disbursement requirements and make sure you've complied with them.
• Your UCSD student account will be credited once you're enrolled in Winter Classes. Winter Quarter disbursements will credit to UCSD student accounts beginning Tuesday, Nov. 24th.
  
• View your billing statement to make sure your financial aid has been applied to your student account.
• Sign up for direct deposit by Dec. 4 in order for your Winter Quarter remainder funds to credit your bank account at the beginning of the quarter. Remainder funds will be available beginning Monday, Jan. 4.

Good news for veterans! Vets may now apply for the new Post-9/11 GI Bill.... and effective July 1, 2009, federal veterans educational benefits are no longer considered as a resource when determining your financial aid package. Visit the Veterans Benefits page for more information.

A new UC grant may help cover your fees:  The Blue and Gold Opportunity Grant will be awarded to qualified undergraduates who are California residents with a total family income below $60,000. Read more about how to qualify for this grant.
