Experiential Learning: Service Learning

Service Learning lets you earn credit while participating in a service activity that meets identified community needs. You will reflect on the service to understand the course content, gain a broader appreciation of the academic discipline, and enhance your sense of civic responsibility.

Some service learning opportunities include:

• Academic Internship Program in Academic Minors
• Academic Internship Program – AIP in the Classroom
• Jacobs School of Engineering – Teams in Engineering Service (TIES)
• Preuss/ Gompers programs – Thurgood Marshall College
• Public Service Minor
• Sixth College Practicum
