
Express to Success (ETS) offers 2 interpersonal communication programs that develop students' social and professional skills in a fun, interactive environment. It is recommended that you complete the ETS Interpersonal Relationships Seminar before registering for the ETS Professional Communication Seminar.
This 9-week non-credit program offered each quarter emphasizes development of social self-confidence and "people skills" through experiential learning activities that address initiating and maintaining conversations with peers and professors, assertiveness and managing conflict in relationships, skills in listening and self-disclosure, and understanding personality styles and group dynamics.
This 9-week non-credit seminar offered each quarter emphasizes the development of professional communication skills, including networking, resume writing and interviewing, professional etiquette, developing professional and personal mentor relationships, and written workplace correspondence.
All seminars start week 2. Seminars are held at the Cross Cultural Center, located at Price Center East (map).
