Internships with Student Legal Services

Support Student Legal Services while you gain valuable work experience in a field that interests you.

How to apply

Student Legal Services (SLS) offers 2 types of unpaid internships for UCSD students. Get more information about internships, the tasks you'll perform, and detailed application instructions:

• Undergraduate Legal Interns assist SLS attorneys with research and program development, and get an inside look at the legal profession.
• Undergraduate Marketing & Outreach Interns support SLS's efforts to reach out to students and student groups.

SLS recruits interns each Spring Quarter; check back in Spring 2010 to find information about future opportunities.

Intern responsibilities

• Volunteer at least 4 hours per week
• Attend at least 2 legal education events each quarter
• Attend a monthly staff meeting
