Students with disabilities are admitted to UC San Diego under the general admission requirements. There is no separate admission procedure.
Within the UC application, your student has an opportunity to address his or her disability, the challenges it presents, strategies used to overcome these challenges, and academic achievements. These are often described in the response to Question 3 of the Personal Statement section, "Academic Accomplishments within Life Experience."
