    Our mission

    The mission of the Sexual Assault & Violence Prevention Resource Center is to work toward the elimination of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking through supportive services and prevention education.

    Services

    We offer free and confidential services for victims and survivors of sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking, including:

    • Individual counseling
    • Crisis intervention and safety planning
    • Support groups
    • On-campus advocacy regarding academic, housing and safety concerns
    • Accompaniment to court dates, police interviews, and medical evidentiary exams

    Educational programs

    • Peer-facilitated workshops on sexual assault awareness and prevention
    • Collaboration with the UCSD Police Department to offer Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) training
    • Safety workshops on a variety of topics from healthy relationships to dating violence
    • Prevention theater
